Any other circumstance likely to affect the safety of the customers of PJM Travel
If PJM Travel fails for any reason within its control to carry out either leg of the
transfer, it will endeavour to provide alternative transport by way of private car, train,
coach, taxi etc to fulfil its obligation to its customers to transfer them as per the
original booking.
Any re-imbursement by PJM Travel to its customer(s) for the cost of such alternative
transportation incurred by the affected passenger(s) is limited to no more than the
cost of getting to their destination by taxi. In the event that, and not excluding flight
delays; the customer is not ready to be collected for whatever reason from the pre-
booked collection point and has not made alternative arrangements with PJM Travel to
amend their original booking, the PJM Travel driver will not be able to wait more than
15 minutes.
In the event that due to severe weather conditions and/or traffic delays PJM Travel are
unable to meet their customer(s) at the agreed collection point at the agreed time it is
the responsibility of the customer(s) to make their way to a safe and suitable
alternative collection point where the driver will pick them up. In such an eventuality
PJM Travel will endeavour to advise the customer where such a suitable location is to
be found. However if such a delay causes or is likely to cause a delay in getting to the
revised collection point at the agreed time, PJM Travel reserves the right to transport
these customers with other customers. This will be decided on an individual basis and
is at the sole discretion of PJM Travel.
In the event of a delayed flight, customers accept that due to other bookings that may
have already been made, the designated driver may not be able to wait for the arrival
of your delayed flight and may well have to leave the airport to attend to the other
booking. In this eventuality the driver will return as soon as is practical to carry out
the delayed customers transfer.
In the case of missed flights or flight delays that cause you to miss your transfer
altogether PJM Travel reserve the right to request that the customer completes a
declaration for the purposes of Travel Insurance for the cost of the new transfer.
PJM Travel will provide child safety and/or booster seats for minors free of charge if
requested by the customer at the booking confirmation stage. However for the
avoidance of doubt and dispute as to the suitability or otherwise of the seats provided
by PJM Travel; it is recommended that Parents/Guardians bring their own child safety
seats.
Customers reserve the right to cancel their booking at any stage – however
cancellation charges will apply.
Cancellation charges/refunds are at the sole discretion of PJM Travel and details of
charges/refunds will be communicated to the customer by e-mail.
PJM Travel will only be liable for any reasonable and foreseeable consequential losses
incurred by its customer(s) arising directly as a result of a breach in the contract by
PJM Travel.
It is strongly recommended that customer(s) of PJM Travel take out their own holiday
insurance, as PJM Travel will not be liable for the costs associated with delayed/missed
flights and the subsequent replacement transfer costs. In the event of the customer
incurring additional costs for a transfer following the delayed/missed flight PJM Travel
will provide the customer with documentation outlining these incremental costs for
recovery from the customer(s) own travel insurance.
PJM Travel Terms & Conditions are governed by UK law.
In the event of a dispute between PJM Travel and a third party, if not resolved by
mutual agreement; the matter will be referred to a mediator. However if mediation is
unsuccessful the matter will be referred to a formal litigation process within the UK
courts.
